The Sheepdog Program is a licensed and credentialed counseling program for both mental health and substance abuse. We offer a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Out Patient (IOP) Program created specifically for Veterans, Federal and State Law Enforcement Officers, and First Responders. This group is unique and only open those who meet these prerequisites or those who get special approval by the program director.
This program is designed to provide innovative treatment approaches utilizing a unique take on peer reviewed and empirically proven interventions. The treatment is provided by professionals who are committed to understanding the character, sacrifices, and motivation of our Veterans and First Responders.
We are located on the Space Coast of Florida. Only 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from Melbourne International Airport. 40 Minutes from Orlando Airport.
The Sheepdog Program has separate male and female housing available for clients that require lodging while they stay at the program. These facilities create a team house or fire house environment so they can re-engage in the camaraderie this setting provides. The only occupants are fellow Sheepdog clients. While staying in the facility the program requires clients to maintain a sober living policy.
The Sheepdog program provides a comprehensive, tailor made program customized for each individual based off the clients presenting issues.
There is no such thing as a generic, clone stamped, predetermined program that should be blanketed across every client. Each client is unique and deserves to be treated according to their needs.
Every case is reviewed by the treatment team to provide the most direct and efficient approach to addressing the clients concerns. The program is fully capable of addressing mental health, behavioral health, TBI, stress management, physical trauma, emotional trauma, and addiction issues.
